Changing tables - safe, comfortable and practical
Feeding, rocking to sleep and changing nappies - these three activities dominate everyday life with a baby in the first months of life. For this reason, a changing table or a changing shelf is part of the first equipment for every young family. It makes changing nappies safer and more comfortable.
Why do parents need a baby changing unit?
A changing unit or a changing shelf provides a stable and sufficiently wide and deep surface for changing the baby, washing it and putting on a new nappy. Even if the child should kick or turn, there is still enough space in a changing unit to prevent it from falling off. Changing chests are usually equipped with appropriate pads that are easy to clean and provide some padding for the baby. A slight elevation on the side prevents the child from rolling off the side.
In addition, a changing unit offers various possibilities in different drawers and storage compartments to store the utensils needed for changing. Parents can store nappies, ointments, wet wipes and much more neatly and still have everything at hand.
